Synopsis

Kyadi, a young mother in the ancient Kingdom of Congo, breaks a sacred law to save her sick husband. It is forbidden to interfere in any way on the third day of that week. Nevertheless, her love for her husband drives her into the forest with her son in search of medicinal herbs. Mbenza Kizila, the God of her people, appears before them and confines them to the moon. They will have to face challenges from another world to return to Earth.
