The Informals plan to break into the Panopticon and steal the prototype of the mysterious machine. They are spread out at key points in the city, closely watching the movements of the villain and the scientist who accompanies him. With his cables, Esticão goes up to the Panopticum, discovering that it is a machine that can capture and erase memories, being a way for the president to carry out the city’s expansion plan, without the resistance of the people. Used as a guinea pig, Macuacua is forced to relive childhood memories, in which the villain injects him with substances to grow and gain muscle. Esticão and Miopia invade the Panopticon and fight for possession of the machine. Macuacua grabs the machine and runs with it down an elevator, “that’s Macuacua’s thing,” he says. Before they can stop him, Esticão and Miopia are attacked by the villains. They suffer serious injuries, arriving at the group’s shelter in disrepair. Orera uses its traditional herbs to heal them. Inside Highness’ laboratory, we see several people connected to the memory machines with expressions of suffering on their faces.
