Determined to save the city of Delomin from pollution, Reciclana, an enigmatic creature that inhabits the earth’s atmosphere, descends to the surface and joins scientist Anabela to face Pulu, a terrible creature born in the laboratory of a fish factory. Pulu controls the city, releases toxic gases that cause a noxious smell, and has already contaminated more than half the population. When they reach a certain level of respiratory infection, people turn into zombies controlled by the villain.

Awakened after years of deep sleep, ancient creatures seek out the local storyteller to redeem their purpose of frightening humans. The evolution of communication has altered the perception of fear, diminishing its importance. The storyteller, initially reluctant, ends up helping them and they form an unexpected bond. Together, they decide to seek out the witch, who helps them adjust to the new reality, transforming them into enthusiasts of Cape Verdean culture and modernity.

Jessica struggles with suicidal thoughts as she revisits her life since childhood, where traumas of violence, abuse and rejection have affected her deeply. As she recalls these difficult moments, an event ends up changing the course of her life. Jessica has to draw strength from other memories and get to know herself beyond the traumas so that new possibilities can emerge in her life.

In Kawashi, a peaceful village, the inhabitants feel the harmony in which they live disturbed by the Vizi, a notorious group of criminals from the city. It is while investigating one of the criminals’ movements that Tunuka, a Kawashi warrior who lives with her younger brothers, uncovers a plot to overthrow the elderly leader and establish a tyrannical system in the village, and in an unexpected confrontation, it is revealed to her that there are more details from her past that she has yet to discover.
