Heroes of Palma
Synopsis
The natural wealth of a place is not always synonymous with stability for the people. Abraão lives in a fishing village in Palma, and one day he goes out to sea with his father. As the boat moves through the waves, he learns of the changes that are coming with the big gas and oil projects. For Abraão, everything is new and a future full of opportunities seems to lie ahead. Over time, abuses and acts of corruption begin to affect the life of the community. A wave of riots and demonstrations arise and the authorities cannot leave them unanswered. Abraão is one of the many heroes of resilience in Mozambique, a hero of Palma.
